2. Tennis course for foreigners at VNTA Academy

2.1. Basic tennis course

Session 1-10: Building a foundation in modern tennis

It’s important to have experience moving with correct footwork for forehand and backhand shots, as well as serving with a light touch. Understanding proper form for hand and body position is key when executing basic single and doubles shots (serve, forehand, backhand).

Session 11-20: Basic tennis course phase 2

Students will learn to anticipate the ball’s position across the entire court, but may still struggle with execution. Attacking with slow-speed short balls at the net will be covered (serve, return serve, forehand, backhand, volley, smash).

Session 21-30:

Students will become more stable when hitting medium-range shots, but may still struggle with handling the ball’s constantly changing direction, depth, and power. They will learn to hit with depth and variety, and will participate in singles and doubles matches to develop physical and mental endurance while engaging in social interaction.

2.2. Advanced tennis course

Session 1 -10: Intermediate level 3.5 (20h training)

Confidently execute controlled shots with moderate power, but still lack consistency in depth and variety. Our Tennis course, from basic to advanced level, in Hanoi provides exercises that involve playing at the net, moving around the court, and practicing various shots.

Session 11- 20: Intermediate-Advanced level 4.0: (20h training)

Session 21-31: Advanced level 4.5: (20h training)

Master powerful shots, spin control, depth control, high-speed ball defense, good footwork, and the ability to adapt to different opponent play styles. Attack and defend in singles and doubles matches, with the ability to serve with power and accuracy and place second serves. Compete in recreational or semi-professional tournaments, and more.
